Skip the lines on Black Friday and opt outside instead!

Ditch the Black Friday crowds and immerse yourself in nature instead! Relax under the shade of the Big Tree and be inspired by its beauty while you create your own watercolor masterpiece. Basic instruction and supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own. All experience levels are welcome.

When: Black Friday, November 29, 10:00 -11:30 a.m.

Where: Check in early at headquarters to obtain a program ticket, then meet at the Big Tree.

Bring: A blanket to sit on and your creativity!

FYI:

• Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
• Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
• Groups larger than eight please contact Sarah Nordlof for a private event.

• Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
