Try your hand at a traditional Japanese art form!

Learn the traditional Japanese art of Gyotaku, or fish printing, in this hands-on art program while learning about our local marine life. Bonus: take home your masterpiece! We use washable tempera paint and have a limited number of smocks available, but please wear clothes that can get messy.

When: Saturday, November 23 & 30, 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Where: Rec Hall

FYI:

• Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
• Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.

• Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time.
