Calling all families! Bring your kids along for a fun, mid-day challenge of earning a "passport" with arts and crafts! See how many creative challenges you can complete while learning about the GREAT outdoors!
Come and go as you please during this mid-day event featuring crafts, nature, camping, and creativity. Rise to the challenge of completing crafts and activities about native wildlife and plants to earn a passport and prize!
Crafts and activities include:
* Paper bag deer puppet
* Paper towel tube butterfly with paper wings
* Bird puzzle
* Popsicle stick camper
* Backyard fishing
* Coloring pages ... and much more!
WHEN: Saturday, July 20th 11am - 1pm
WHERE: Recreation Hall in the day use area (with restrooms)
WHO: Kids of all ages with parents/guardians
* Bring water and a lunch and use the picnic tables at any time throughout the event. You may also enjoy the rest of the park until 10pm.
* This event is FREE for all day visitors and overnight campers - just let us know you are here for the event upon arrival.
