The perfect way to kick off your Thanksgiving holiday!

Join a park ranger for a one-mile gratitude hike. We'll hike the Turks Cap Trail in search of reminders for all that we have to be thankful for and finish just in time to watch the sunset.

When: November 23 & 27, 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Where: Meet at the Turks Cap Trail parking lot near site #157

Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Insect repellant
• Drinking water

FYI:

• Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
• Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
• Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
