Join a park ranger for a morning of bayfront fishing.

Learn a few fishing basics, enjoy the salt air, and hope to get some bites! This catch-and-release fishing program is fun for the whole family.

When: 9:00-10:00 am

Where: West Bayfront. Look for the white sign.

Bring: BYO-BAIT! We recommend shrimp. A limited number of fishing poles are available, but feel free to bring your own.

*Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass. Program will be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
