Description:

Cover more ground, see more birds!

Join birding experts for a bird-focused tour of the park on an open-air electric tram. We'll explore the Live Oak-Red Bay woodlands, coastal prairies, marshes, bay shorelines, and freshwater wetlands of Goose Island State Park, and even venture out to the Big Tree in search of endangered Whooping Cranes. Expect to learn about and identify birds seen on the route, which includes a stop at the bird viewing area. This program is designed for both novice and experienced birders. There may be optional opportunities to get off the tram and walk a short distance to view birds.

Limited space available. Advanced registration is recommended. Please call (361) 729-2858 or visit Park Headquarters to register.
