Sit back, relax, and let the Big Tree inspire you to create your own watercolor masterpiece.

Relax under the shade of the Big Tree and be inspired by its beauty while you create your own watercolor masterpiece. Basic instruction and supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own. All experience levels are welcome.

When: 9:00 -10:30 a.m.

Where: Check in early at headquarters to obtain a program ticket, then meet at the Big Tree.

Bring: A blanket or chair to sit on and your creativity!

Children must be accompanied by an adult during all programs. Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass. Program will be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather. Groups larger than 8 please contact Sarah Nordlof to schedule a private event.
