Description:
Join a ranger on an informative one-mile beach walk and discover what the tide brought in.
When: 10 a.m.
Where: Meet at the day-use beach near the big gazeebo
What: Topics of discussion will be shells, sea-beans, and anything else the ocean currents bring to Mustang Island.
Notes: Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, the island is usually much windier than in town.
Walks may be canceled or postponed in event of rain.
There is no fee for attending this program although park entrance is required. Entrance fees are $5 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free, or free with a current Texas State Park Pass.
