Join Ranger Sarah to discover creatures lurking in our waters.

The waters surrounding Goose Island State Park are full of creatures just waiting to be discovered! This hands-on program focuses on aquatic sampling techniques and identification of fish, crustaceans, and vegetation. Meet at the Day Use Picnic Area.

*Optional: If you would like to get in the water, please wear closed-toed, closed-heel shoes that can get wet and muddy.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for all programs.

Programs are FREE with entrance fee ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Pass.
