Love your smart phone? Love the outdoors? Love a little healthy competition?

Do you seek adventure or wonder about the natural world, but have a hard time putting down your smart phone? Problem solved! Compete as a team or individual in this modern version of a park-wide sleuthing contest. Start at the Rec Hall to receive your checklist and a brief overview of the rules at 9:30 a.m., then complete as many challenges as you can throughout the park before final judging from 2:00- 2:30 p.m.

Where: Meet at the Rec Hall.

When: 9:30 a.m.. Final judging 2:00- 2:30 p.m.

Bring: your detective skills, camera or smart phone (cameras not provided by the park), pen/pencil/marker, drinking water, closed-toed walking shoes. Dress for the weather.

FYI:

• Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.

• Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.

• Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
