Try your hand at Gyotaku - the Japanese art of fish printing.
Try your hand at making fish prints. Fish printing is an art form that can also be used to document an impressive catch. We will use replica fish and tempra paint to make our own fish print works of art.

Where: Day Use Area
Helpful things to bring: A journal, pen or pencil, and your desired media. The park will provide tempra paint, paper, and replica fish for use in the program. Wear old clothes that you don't mind getting paint on!
Goose Island State Park has a day use fee of $5 per person 13 years of age and older, children 12 and under are free.
If there are no participants are present 15 minutes after start time the program may be canceled. Program may be postponed or canceled in event of rain.
