'Chirp' in the New Year with a hike to look for migrating birds and common winter residents!
Join our interpretive park ranger for a stroll along Choke Canyon State Park’s trails and lake edge. Watch and listen for common and rare birds found here in the winter and during migrations. You are welcome to bring your own binoculars and bird identification book. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather!
When: Monday, January 1, 2018 10:00am-11:00am
Where to meet: 75-acre lake picnic area
Length and difficulty of trail(s): Approximately 1 mile; Easy to Moderate
Who can come: Ages 6+ and friendly pets on a leash
What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable hiking shoes, water
