Come learn about the exciting world of birding!

This program is designed for people who want to learn the basics of bird watching such as how to properly use binoculars and how to use a bird field guide book.  Special guest presenter Gene Blacklock, author of "Birds of Texas, a Field Guide" will guide you through all of the basics and set you on the path to your own birding adventures.  Instruction will consist of a Saturday morning presentation and an afternoon guided bird walk.  Space is limited, so contact the Park Office today at 361-547-2635 to reserve your spot! 

Program is FREE with park admission, $5 ages 13 and older; 12 and under are FREE; Texas State Park Pass holders are FREE!
