Come to the day-use beach to enjoy some leisurely shorebird viewing.

Shorebirds are a common sight at the beach, but their survival strategies may surprise you.  This 2-hour program begins with a spotting scope and binocular use demonstration before taking a leisurely walk to the jetties to get a glimpse of the day-to-day life of shorebirds at Mustang Island.  

Bring things for a comfortable walk: hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes. We have a limited number of binoculars to use so bring a pair if you have them.
